Hey! Im new here as you can see. I figured id start off and introduce myself here.
My names Tom. Im 17 and live on the east coast of the US. Im originally from North East ohio.
Im a diagnosed Aspie and have been for only a few years (in which time i almost ruined my life whith many bad descisions).
I was diagnosed at 14 after years of doubt of my own sanity or "normality".
Now only, i accept the fact that im definately not NT and have given up many bad habits
which i had developed to cope with my loneliness and aggravation at myself.
I have been going in and out of depression for the last 4 years or so and was for a time extremely suicidal. I dont think any of which ive stated about myself is at all uncommon for ppl on this Forum, but hey, i figure it helps describe my history a little more. Theres more to it but ill leave it at that for now  |

BigT i agree. Just too many of us, one day it will catch up and our generation will rule.
Yeah the only thing i could do is run away from the truth, which seems to be common in my family 
but that doesnt mean i cant be different. |

Welcome Tom,
Depression is a core part of aspergers but the key has to be recognising it as part of the condition rather than necessarily being related to your environment.
If you can't fix it, sometimes you just have to accept it.

hi I'm new here
my name is ryuu I'm fifteen yearsold and I got A.S and I live in washington I don't want to talk about my history till I get peope to know me better but I realized I had A.S over a year ago and now I'm able to control my A.S easily to overcome it not to lose it though |
