Other Aspie lesbians? Or just lesbians for that matter?
I'm no good at all being out on the scene andI don't enjoy the local LGBT youth group.
Any suggestions?
Thanks |

If you know where the nearest GLBT community is, try going to some of the hangouts there. _________________ When you need something, that's a responsibility, that only an adult...of my maturity...Bunnies!!!

I've tried (Canal Street) but I can never bring myself to talk to people. I'm better socially when it's lesser people |

If you fall somewhere on the butch-femme spectrum there is butch-femme.com, though there have been issues at the site in the beginning of the year. I know that every state has a forum, and that meetups are sometimes arranged between members. However if you're underage, then I'd definitely suggest the youth programs at your local LGBT center.
Good luck! _________________ There are only 10 types of people in this world: those who understand binary and those who don't. |

Accrington, but I just say Manchester because it's the nearest 'amin city' to me which people have heard of
I mean it when I say this, there are no youth groups in East Lancashire for LGBT youth and travelling to Manchester every week just adds up .
It's like I'm in a 'no-win' situation |

| I know a nice girl that lives in the west of Lancashire that's a lesbian. She doesn't have any friends and is very anxious herself - to be honest I think she has one or two autistic traits of her own. She can hold her own though and has a job, a house and a car. She's in her late twenties. |

I would have suggested hooking you up as I think she's after a lady friend but you're probably much too young for her. Nice try though.
I've been over Accrington way before - there doesn't seem to be much of anything over there. Have you tried looking at some UK-based lesbian online forums, if there are any? You might find some help and support there. |

I wasn't trying to pick her up . Sorry if it came across that way, I'm just trying to learn with my compliments
I'm a member on some Gay Youth forums but I just find them so dull and the people on them act like little kids, for most lesbian forums you have to be 18+ |

Ah, sorry. Didn't realise you weren't 18 yet. It's just the way it was worded - I found myself jumping to conclusions is all.
I'm sure if it's a non-sexual lesbian board people won't really mind if you're only 16. If they're allowed to lick your rug why can't you talk about what matters to you? |
