I am 28 years old, like animated sitcoms, and I am very liberal.

I am goal-oriented, honest, conscientious, loyal, and responsible guy, and I seek the same in a partner.

I live in San Marcos, Texas, near San Antonio and Austin, but location is not important. I am a junior at Texas State University, majoring in geography/urban planning, and will likely be graduating in December 2009.

I'm not sure you would want a clone with your exact interests anyways.
Half the fun is being able to talk about things, and you don't need to discuss things when the other person shares your deep interests in the subject and knows it already.

I'd hate a clone of me.
She'd have to be cyborg (think 7 of 9)!

Yeah, but animated sitcoms are the barometer I use to determine liberal vs. conservative. If someone likes them, they're liberal, if they don't, they're conservative.

awe. Laughing .

I never thought of it till now, but technically I sort of qualify. . . practically, though, "single" is something much more like "excruciatingly complicated, trust me you don't want any." Also, I'm much less about Southpark and much more about. . . say. . . American Dad.

however, I do wish you the finest of luck.

you could try asking about the political compass test instead. Very Happy

Edit: please note that the fact I find this funny is not intended as a slight on your very real pathos in any way. I just have. . . guy issues. And they are funny, if very real. I promise.

Well I throw a wrench into that whole idea. Laughing I'm mostly conservative, but I like South Park, Simpsons, Family Guy, and Futurama. I wouldn't gauge someone by the TV shows they watch, that could cut out a lot of people who are worth knowing.

... But I'm also a guy, so you don't want me anyway!

What about girls that don't watch TV?
I don't watch TV myself (I'm not a girl, but I'm sure there are girls like me that don't watch TV either).

If she doesn't watch TV, I will have no idea where she is socially and politically. If that's the case, I will assume she's conservative.

The Republican Party is basically just a Christian version of the Taliban.

er. .

you know this isn't exactly an empirical approach, right?

Plenty of lefties don't watch TV. I don't really. . . more just the internet. Don't have a TV. If I didn't have friends I wouldn't know anything about your shows.

and I'm Definitely a leftie.

The reason I associate animated sitcoms with liberalism is because of the language used on those shows. Conservatives would likely find those shows offensive. And it doesn't necessarily have to be South Park anymore.

I renounced Christianity just a few hours ago.

consider: intelligent liberals may not care to watch commercials for commercials.

I can't think of any polite ways to filter out the conservatives. The only thing I can think of is to put a warning that any attempt from conservatives to contact me with the intent of dating would be considered stalking--but that's just not me.

If they want to be friends, however, that's fine. But they must realize that friendship is as far as it will go.

Who knows, a nice girl with conservative views might balance you out nicely. Opposites do attract.

How is the Republican party anything like the Taliban? Confused

Finding *any* liberal Aspie is nearly impossible.

You obviously don't know about real conservatives; your opinion of conservatives is based on "konservatives" like Moron-in-chief and screaming flaming idiot "conservatives" like the folks over at Fox news.

For example: The youth minister at my church identifies as conservative, but he also watches much of those animated series's that you mention, and does some other things you wouldn't expect a minister to do, like listen to death metal. He also knows that Bush is an idiot, thinks that invading Iraq was a mistake, is appalled at the mediocre response to katrina.

Bottom line is, not all conservatives are what the Fox news channel is trying to portray as "conservative".
