Sorry... The series isn't over yet, what happens on cable is that they produce X episodes, then they take a break & come back to finish the season.
What I was looking for was opinions on whether or not the 13th tribe destroyed itself, or if someone else did it for them. Another posibility---This isn't Earth. _________________ "...A genious with access to unstable chemicals.

"Revelations" was the end of Season 4.0. Season 4.5 should pick up in January. The "half-season" divisions for BSG started in Season 2.0, with the cliffhanger ending of "Pegasus", with the two remaining battlestars launching Vipers at each other over the question of whether Adama was going to get to reclaim Helo and Chief Tyrol or not.
SPOILER WARNING!!!! IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN "REVELATIONS" YET, READ NO FURTHER!!!

As for the end of the episode, it would appear they've arrived at Earth - a little too late. Was there a war? Did the other Cylons beat them there, and destroy the planet? Was there an alien invasion? Or perhaps some horrid accident, similar to the one some physicists feared when the first atomic bomb was tested? (There was some fear that the reaction would not stop with the uranium in the bomb, but proceed to fission every possible element on Earth. Fortunately, the fear was unfounded.) A person of my acquaintance with some familarity with a Geiger counter says that the radiation level where they were standing, based on the sounds of their counter, would be safe enough for a day or so - if you're going to be there any longer than that, you'll want protective suits.
The recapper at Television Without Pity has been assured, by sources he refuses to disclose, that what we saw was not New York City. One of the posters there says that it looks to him like Vancouver, plus a touch of global warming. On the other hand, someone at SJGames.com linked to an 1887 New York Times story about the dedication of the Scottish Rite Masons Temple of Aurora... _________________ If it can't be expressed in figures, it is not science; it is opinion. - Robert A. I haven't seen the most recent ep yet (Haven't had time to watch it on hulu). I'm really getting into the series, though I'm hearing that these later seasons are getting weirder compared to the earlier seasons. I haven't noticed but I started with the free ep Scar adn the web eps on scifi.com plus the last three eps of season 3 on hulu, I've been following slowly since.
I have to check netflix to see if I can get the earlier seasons (I don't have cable TV)
I have to say this is a good series, its like Babylon 5 but gritter.

you can get them off of Netflix, that's how we watched the first 3 seasons, and then we watched season 4 live. and January is LONG time to wait for it to come back! _________________ NT mom of two ASD boys

Sweet, now to find a way to splice them into the movie slections that my spouse wants. I might be able to get her into it if the first few eps aren't too political and just good old sci-fi (She is a big star wars fan, up to EPII) |

A fan here.
I didn't know season four had started (Daniel starts downloading).... I liked Razor; the cutback to the first Cylon War was really, really cool. I also liked how it showed Cain as a razor; sharp in peacetime, but when there's some pressure applied to the razor, she broke (she's not a sword, like Adama is). |

I am.
It's good [in my view], and it's a nice adjunct to Cain's and Pegasus' story back in season 2, as well as being relevant to the latter episodes (in relation to season 3 that is, I don't know about 4 for I haven't seen it). |

| In the original series they reach earth twice. First they reach a planet they think its earth but it isnt..and it also was in the middle of a cold war like state that was about to boil into a nuke war.. then later on (the crappy 1980 series i think) they did reach earth but it was too primitive to help them. |
