Doesn't anyone think people should just leave that poor kid's family alone?!
I don't think they deserve to be reminded of the fact their kid is dead.

Have people lost all respect for the dead, especially involving kids on the internet?

Discuss.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=an+hero
Quote:
Term originates from a grammatically incorrect poem posted at a myspace memorial for a boy (Mitchell) who killed himself when he couldn't find his ipod.

is that what you mean?

[note ive got no knowledge outside that paragraph that i just found] i agree it would be harsh to stick it to the kids family, but i find the story hard to believe and as something surreal it is one of the funnest things i have read in some time

People bother his family?

No wait... People still bother his family?

Well, it's mostly the basement-dwelling losers at 4chan. You honestly couldn't stop them even if you wanted to.

It's a little weird to kill yourself over an ipod. Regardless, the joke just isn't that funny.

It is kind of sad that someone would do something for something so little.

I'm pretty sure it's 4chan that's keeping it alive. They're pretty much the masters of beating dead horses.
