I'm taking the first step twards freedom today. I am having my boyfriend call a abuse hot line for me. He is going to see what help I can get to get out of my abusive household. He lives in another country but he is useing skype to call there phone hotline.
He has helped me through this whole process and I am so very greatfull for his help . I would have never come as far as I have if it werent for him . I love him so very much!
And thank you everyone who helped me become brave enough to take this first step. It feels so unreal right now, but I know reality will sink in soon.
I dont know what will happen but I will keep you guys posted. Wish me luck!!!

It sucks, being in an abusive household.
You're probably going to crash and go into a thick, deep depression followed or preceded by bouts of irrational fear.
Stay calm, stay strong and know that whatever happens, you are better than they are.

| I've been in that situation and getting out was just as scary so I stayed for too long. You need to stay strong and make sure you do get out soon so that you can start your life. |

I'm glad you have a supportive erson t help with this, I had someone similiar and still feel so grateful for his help. Change is hard but things can get better and it sounds like your headed in the right direction...congratulations.

I called and I'm getting free therapy for the abuse. I am going to the shelter in my area to get the help. I am hoping once I get there they will give me some options on how to start getting out of here.
The lady on the other end of the phone was so nice, she help me throuhg the proccess of setting up an appt. I will be going in a week or two.
I am a little nervious, I worry they wont beleve me when I tell them the things I've been through. But I hope they will, becuase after all I'm not the only one who has had it that bad.
But wish me good luck and send any prayers my way that you can , praying for me to get out of here and into a good healthy living environment .

I'm glad you talked with a nice person who could help you. Many of the people who work in the "field" have personal experience with abuse and also had to deal with "not being believed", so they tend to understand how that is a second form of abuse and trust hat you are telling them.
I think this is a great first step and I hope everything works out.
