Ok, but what does it really mean? A lot of this stuff is learned. My graph would look very different if I'd taken the test 20 or 30 years ago....

I think the graph represents a few different things.
The 1st thing (I see) is that even though all of us are on the spectrum. We are all so very different.
The second thing is that our apparent skills? handicaps are all within the Aspie range.
The third thing is it points out exactly where are strengths are and weaknesses. Maybe, this could help us to actually improve in the areas we need to & take pride in those we have strenghts in.
Yes tests taken at the beginning, middle or end of ANY experience would have differing outcomes. That is the point of testing. To see how much or how little we have learned.
I liked this tests because it is a concrete representation of an intangable concept(s) _________________ Thoughts become words.
Words become actions.
Actions become habits.
Habits become character.
And Character is Everything. |

Thanks Sora...ooops
I like the new test because you have the option of "don't know"....but somehow that made my score higher then last time??? Is now 183 and used to be 173 or 167...can't remember but it was a little less aspie. I seem to be getting aspier from hanging out on WP ? _________________ Just because one plane is flying out of formation, doesnt mean the formation is on course....R.D.Lang

krex, you forgot to set a [ in front of the link btw.
My score went from 160ies or even 150ies to 180ies suddenly. Before, the scores gradually lowered, starting from 170ies to the 150ies. Its certainly not static with my person.
I got this at the beginning of June and it is still very up-to-date:
Your Aspie score: 181 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 16 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

Looks like the only NT thing I can do is tie my shoes and say Hi, and that is learned behavior, (problem is I never know who to say hi to and who to not say Hi to so complete strangers get a "hi" too ) _________________ Just because one plane is flying out of formation, doesnt mean the formation is on course....R.D.Lang

so is it that the farther (higher) on the numeric grid you go, the more something is, or is it that it means it's less? huh?i REALLY do not understand this graph, as there's no legend explaining what the lines mean. duh? _________________ Novinson's Revolutionary Discovery: When comes the revolution, things will be different - not better, just different. |

Honestly...I haven't a clue. I think I will go check in the statistical info and see if he has posted anything there. I wonder if my AS vs NT results have changed more because he has fine tuned the questions or "something else". _________________ Just because one plane is flying out of formation, doesnt mean the formation is on course....R.D.Lang

Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 58 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie
Hmm big spike on hunting for me to.
Got my sister to take the test, hers was mostly on the NT side except for a spike on the Aspie activity area, like mine but to a lesser degree. |

Your Aspie score: 180 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 19 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie
Everytime...."very likely an Aspie"
I'm seeing a pattern to this.....
I learned how to say "Hi" too, but now I say hi to people a lot more than most NTs do, so I'm not sure if that counts as neurotypical behavior.
The shapes of some of these graphs are really cool _________________ "I know of nobody who is purely autistic or purely neurotypical. Even God has some autistic moments, which is why the planets all spin."
