I sleep in a semi-fetal position. legs not totally on my chest but nearby almost like i am in a chair of some odd shape. My head is on my bicep of my arm, i don't use pillows at all, all i have the pillow there is for lateral security of my arm/head. I usually sleep on my right side.

how do you sleep?

Please vote and describe your position in a post if you wish. vote is required!

I constantly change positions when I'm trying to get to sleep (and when I'm asleep). I always lie on either my left side or my right side, and sometimes my body is curled up and sometimes it's straight except for my knees and elbows. I usually have my blanket wrapped around and tucked under my head. My bed is always in the corner of the room, and my head is always on the quarter of my bed that is closest to the corner of the room.

I usually sleep on my front but on rare occasions I'll sleep on my right side in a fetal position. I am completely unable to get to sleep on my back. I became paranoid about suffocating in my sleep and wouldn't allow myself to sleep face down or on my side (in case I rolled over) but after a couple of nights I became so tired that I started to hallucinate Shocked I decided I would take the risk and went back to sleeping on my belly Razz

I sleep on my back. I fall asleep on my right side (almost always, unless I am sick, drunken etc.).

But no matter how I fall asleep, stomach, sides, I'll always turn around in my sleep until I am on my back.

Mine is a combination. I toss and turn. I like to sleep on my back.

How can you sleep in a fetal position on your back?

95% on my side. Strongly favor the left. Once in a while I'll fall asleep on my back (5%).

Fetal position, but alternating between left and right. Occasionally I'll lie flat on my back, but only if I'm just taking a nap. Can't seem to fall asleep that way at night.

I toss and turn constantly. I usually sleep on my side, occasionally my stomach - I absolutely can't sleep on my back. I almost always have to sleep on top of my arms...I need the pressure on my arms to sleep. I also have to be completely wrapped in blankets even in winter - I have to sleep in extreme warmth.

My exact sleeping position is hard to describe; something like halfway on my side and halfway on my stomach. I don't favor the right or the left; it's whatever side I'm in the mood for on any given night.

I never, ever sleep on my back unless I'm sick.

I almost always fall asleep on my right side, but non fetal. Once in a blue moon I may fall asleep on my back, but this is rare.

on my side in a half fetal position (both knees and elbows bent, but not at my chest.) body pillow between my knees (im very thin and have had knee surgery and its torture to have my knees touch). I also sleep with a memory foam pillow crammed against my back (lol, I make a nest basically). oh and the covers must be all the way up under my chin (must have jersey cotton t-shirt sheets and a micro plush blanket) However, my really weird thing is right now i sleep on my left side, however, if the facing the door to my room meant sleeping on my right side, I could not sleep on my left. I must be facing the door. Cannot sleep on my back at all, and havent slept on my stomach since i got pregnant with my older son who is now almost 8.

Flat on my back and with my legs propped on a pillow and a buckwheat pillow over my face.
