I saw a small piece when they were doing national news on Good Morning America, it was about maybe 2 minutes or less in time. Alex spoke maybe five words in it then they had another women talking about Aspergers and how non violent we are then segment ended.

It should be a bit after an hour into the program. As kevv said, it was only about 2 minutes long, so you may have fast forwarded through it.

The fella who shot people may not have been an aspie after all, maybe he just liked the site or thought he was aspie but was actually something else, was he ever Dx'd?, hmmm

I personally think this will work itself out for the best, Wrong Planet has done a good job handling this situation. I think no real harm has come to Wrong Planet either.

That was irresponsible of you to make unilateral decision to tip off the media. That should have been left for the site administration to handle. Next time something big happens at WP (should something big that's good or bad happen again), let the grown-ups handle it!  |

I personally don't give a care as long as the authorities don't pul it out of proportion, and then it would be their fault.

I agree with sean's point if not his tone of expressing it.
WP certainly had the responcibility to remain transparent and honest on this issue, as it is a police matter, but what gave you the idea that it was up to you to contact the authorities Ante? |

I really couldn't see why anyone needed to know that he posted here personally. It was tragic and I wish he had found what he needed here. But the posts he made are just the sort of sensationalism that newsfolk pounce on to make the story more interesting. It doesn't change anything at all. Just brings lots of attention to the site.

I think Sean is wrong myself. Whatever Ante did was for Us too. There has be to much finger pointing I think by a few people. Though we all have the right to say what we want to though. I think we need to get past it too.
I say it again Wrong Planet has handle the situation well enough. That it has done no real harm to Wrong Planet or its members or even the ones that visit the site. We are all learning and maybe God lets hope not that we have to handle another tragedy like this ever again.

Ante didn't even contact the authorities... He merely contacted the media.
If he thought what he thought, a responsible thing would have been to contact the police, but it wasn't necessarily irresponsible to contact the media either.
