I put down 02:00, because that is my preferred time. I'll often retire earlier, out of deference to FirstInLine, but usually will lie awake, watching my mind run around in circles. Almost as entertaining as NASCAR.

My kids and I have a problem with this. If I try to go to bed early, and I haven't had a bunch of seizures, I can stay up until 2:00 before I realize that it's late. My 11 YO dd, who I strongly suspect is an aspie, will stay up all night and become completely nocturnal, if I don't medicate her!
This becomes a problem because poeple expect us to be places in the morning, for appointments.
If the world were more accomodating, we'd be nocturnal. Before I had kids I often was. |

| I stay up till between 2 and 3 every morning. It's so much more peaceful and quiet at night. Plus, nobody's around to interrupt my train of thought! |

It's a very rare thing for me to fall asleep before 4am. The only problem with this fact is that usually when I'm trying to go to sleep the STUPID BIRDS WON'T STOP CHIRPING! STFU YOU LIL' BASTARDS!!
Seriously, they piss me off. _________________ omgz I r banned. |

| i LOVE staying up late. staying up late feels like squeezing extra hours in the day. it's a special "me" time that no one bothers me at. unfortunately, the next day sucks if you stay up too late if you have to work. 12:30 am is my designated "bed time" that I try to keep so I can make to to work ok. i'm kind of ignoring that today because our normal 10am meeting is cancelled for tomorrow. if it's a Friday or Saturday though, I'm liable to stay up until 4am, and then get off to a rocky start come Monday. if i have a week off or something, then i'll just stay up till breakfast time and the rest of my week is on a very variable sleep schedule. |

I seem to have a sleep cycle thats about 27 hours long. 18 hours awake, 9 hours asleep.
I never understood how people can operate properly on a 24 hour schedule. I am much more active and effective at night time. Whenever I get a few days off I invariably stay up later, and sleep later, and stay up later until I manage to loop around again. This means that if i take a week off work, that I will make a 9 day vacation into a 8 day vacation. But my days are much longer. |

| I try to get to bed before 4:00 but my brain is too overstimulated from the day and it's a struggle to actually sleep. It's now 3:20 as I type this. I bang my head against the pillow and roll back and forth but still. |
