I'm thinking of transferring to a new school which is 12 miles away from me (instead of 2). I think I already asked once on here if my condition would make it so that I could possibly write off a parking pass (there is no convenient public transportation around me to there and it would be impossible for me to carpool or live on campus due to my condition) and possibly transportation costs.
Since I plan to major in music ed at the new school I couldn't take the courses online (unless they want me to play an instrument over a webcam!) and therefore would have to drive in each day.
BTW: I don't really mind buses since I can sit off by myself, my only issue with them would be taking instruments on them and of course the fact that I'm a long way away from the bus terminals (about 4 miles) and I don't think they have a stop anywhere near the school. I don't feel safe on any college campus due to PTSD (stemming from something three years ago on a campus) so I wouldn't want to walk too far. (The parking garage I would use is across the street from the building I'd have every class in so that wouldn't be an issue). The reason I can't carpool is because I know no current commuter students down there and would not be comfortable riding with someone I don't know. Even if I met someone I may not want to ride with them because I'm OCD about the way people drive sometimes (I'm over-conscious about safety--if you want proof, take a look at my car; I drive a Volvo with a half a billion airbags in it and drive like a little old lady). |

| Why not go with some of your friends you met in high school so that you can remain friends and carpool to college. |
