| I love writing but I have a very difficult time sitting myself down and doing the work. Do you have a regular time when you work on writing? Or do you write when the mood strikes you? How do you fit it around work or school and other life commitments? |

| I used to do it whenever, but I've found that you REALLY just gotta make it a habit. I work best at night. I hate doing it nightly because it's just too stressful and too limiting in the schedule, though. So on my current novel I'm trying to do a chapter a week for the summer while I still have time! |

| It happens when the mood strikes me, but since people laugh at what and how I write, I generally don't. |

Even though the guy that probably influences me most, Nick Cave, has working hours for writing, I do not.
In fact, I'm quite the opposite. I write in any way possible. I always have a pen and paper with me so that any time a lyric hits me I can write it down.
Not keeping a routine is what challenges me as a writer. Writing from scratch. Writing from a title. Writing from a new chord. Writing music around someone else's lyrics. It's all a way to stretch your ability just like a muscle. |

| It's easier with short stories. I've sat down and thought out and written a surprisingly good short story in just two hours. It's a fun thing to do. But my true passion lies in novels with super complex plots. AND THOSE TAKE FOREVER! |

I used to enjoy writing, and I'm trying to start a novel. But I'm finding I can't do it anymore. It's not "writer's block" - it just seems like writing is an unpleasant chore now.
I hope that changes back to what it used to be. |

| I'm currently trying to document the inner workings of my imaginary world, but it's extremely difficult to start writing once I sit down. So I just write whenever I feel like it, which isn't often. |
