Who plays either one? Do you play online? Whats your favorite race? Do you play regular Melee games, or UMS (cat & mouse, evolves, ect). Are you pro, semi pro, or a noob?
And are any of you interested in playing in a private server, rather than the laggy battle.net?  |

I personally prefer the Protoss.
My favorite strategy is the protoss rush.
Build 1 Extra Probe
Harvest Minerals Till 100
Build Pylon
Set Warping Probe Back To Harvesting
Build 2-3 More Probe's
Warp In Gateway
Crank Out Zealots And Send Them To Enemy Base
Take Probe Up To Base
Build Pylon & Shield Battery
Continue upgrading and keep the enemy on the backfoot. The Zerg or Terran's can be a major menace once they start their war economy going.

I still play. Great game!
The Protoss worked for me: carriers or lots of dragoons.
Playing the Terran are wicked fun: nukes or a hoard of battlecruisers. Incidently, I will actually take a dropship filled with repair guys to fix my BC's between fights. I like having fully functioning equipment.
I am not good at the Zerg. Very hard for me to play.

I had Starcraft on Nintendo 64  , it had splitscreen multiplayer but when i played against my friend we could both see what eachother was doing but once i had built a massive group of carriers and he didn't notice  . We would mostly play vs 2 computer teams on bloodbath map. |

I play Terran most of the time, though Zerg is easier for me vs protoss.
ToadOfSteel, I know how you feel, haha. I can't find any regular game that doesn't have a korean in Battle.net, at least on USWest server. |

NUKES, YES! I love doing a nuke build versus computers. I always win |

Not me.
A good Zerg Strategy.
Take a diversionary force to their front. Now sneak in 8 Lurkers on 4 Overlord's. Burrow six of them far away and drive two right into their resource lines and burrow them. Rip the SCV's/ Drones/ Probes to pieces asap.
A Templar Storm is fun. Use Zealots to soak up the melee and ranged damage and have the Psionic Storm shred the ranged guys.
But Terran's...fun!
A 12-man Ghost Team running around and sniping off enemy forces with a four siege tank/ 8 Goliath backup? Freakin deadly XD

Haven't played starcraft in years. I favored the zerg or terrans. It was usually a 3 or 4 player game with friends. I was never any good at the keystroke/shortcut aspect, and couldn't get off to that "fast start" that's so important. My priorities were lousy, I had good tactics if I had time to execute them but I usually took too long to prepare an attack and got mauled while laying my plans.
It was fun while it lasted but those few friends all quit playing. I tried a couple of battle.net random matches, no fun at all, I'd be mining my first crystal and all of a sudden my sh** was in flames and the dude was telling me to "report". |
