The list length would be 2n(n-1) where n is the number of races. For 10 races, the list would have to contain 180 options!
I honestly couldn't say which race I would prefer besides white. I'm white and I am attracted mostly to white women. Attraction is based largely on similarity, because from a game theory standpoint, that's the best way to place one's bets when the payoff structure of the game is otherwise unknown. The probability of success in dating is maximized by allocating attention and affection to persons who are most likely to return them. The best guess one can make will be to approach another person with a lot of similarities. This strategy will also make you be the other person's best guess if that person is using that same strategy.
If a person uses a strategy of preferring a specific, dissimilar individual, their likelihood of success will be reduced somewhat because that person is counting on being the best bet for the other dissimilar person. For example, a white woman who is specifically looking for an indian man will need to find an indian man who is specifically looking for a white woman. However, the indian man she's looking at, who prefers a dissimilar woman, might prefer an east asian woman instead of her. In that particular example, the encounter was a failure for both the indian man and the white woman, and the experience may prompt the white woman to change her strategy back to approaching white men. The indian man might change his strategy back to approaching indian women if he later encounters an east asian woman who prefers white men, and so on. The probability of success using the dissimilar strategy is low, for all players using it, when the number of races is large. The Nash equilibria of this game involve the use of similar-race strategies by all players. 
It all depends on the individual. It isn't a criterion I can formulate beforehand and it certainly wouldn't keep me from dating someone I like if she happens to be a different race, but the other person has to like me, too!

I think when race gets involved in attractiveness, intelligence and personality are the keys.
For me, I think if I found an intelligent, alternative, emotionally and intellectually intense/eccentric Asian, South-American, or African-American girl I'd actually be even more attracted than to a white girl just because I tend to really be fascinated by people who have a real exotic blend of personality traits, have a real precise and assured sense of self, and its funny that I've met all three I just described and felt way more connection to them just on account that common or compatible personality really is the ultimate; it personalizes everything about the communication you have with them, makes it that much more special.
I think also, if she's a member of another race or culture, particularly when things are less assimilated, and we have all that going on - the fact that she knows who she is, knows what she wants, the reliability factor (my ability to trust her consistency) gives a lot of trust. I need to feel natural trust with a person to really feel turned on by them. |

They are hot!
Is it because of having the perception that they are submissive/pleasing?

| I will say one thing though, if it really came down to being with a girl who we were really that fit in terms of affinity for one another, I'd most likely pick the black or mocha latino girl. I think its because, just the combination of personality traits, and style would hit me that much more intensely; not 100% sure why aside from novelty (being that can be a bit of a dirty word I'll elaborate, I'd be very serious about the relationship but I'd also cherish them that much more, it would probably even further enhance my sense of their uniqueness). |
