My parents, grandmother, uncle, and I heading off on a 1 week Bermuda cruise tomorrow. Never been on a cruise. But I'm semi-excited and nervous. A couple of things cross my mind:

- What if my luggage gets lost somehow while getting on/off the ship? I'm going to be carrying about 90% of the clothes I own with me (don't own alot to begin with) and a few other things and that is simply not an acceptable outcome.

- Still don't know what to expect. I know that the first 2 days will be out at sea, then 2 days in Bermuda, then 2 days coming back. I know of a few of the activities and events on the ship and in Bermuda. But I still don't have any sense of how it will turn out. Maybe it will be an escape from boredom, or maybe the whole thing will suddenly become a bore. I don't expect sensory overload will be an issue, except maybe an annoyance during the first half an hour when they are doing the safety drill.

- What if we come back and find the house burglarized, or burnt down? We do need to leave at least one door open so our neighbor can come by periodically to look after my parent's cat. This is a passing fear because given how quiet our neighborhood is, the chances are just about non-existant. But whatever.

Here's a quick tip. If you trust your neighbor give them a key or tell them there's one under the front mat or something like that I WOULD NOT TRUST LEAVING A DOOR UNLOCKED!!! The other stuff I wouldn't worry about. Smile Have fun that's the main thing it's a vacation to get away from all your stresses. Smile
