|

Finding yourself on a wrong planet it is natural to look for the right one, isn't it?
How have you tried to find your Right Planet? I mean - to find some better or "the right" place, environment, company, way of living, state of mind ... Your failures, successes, plans, hopes related to this activity? Anybody hoped to fly away with UFOs, tried to go "back to roots" or to reach nirvana? Is there a "way out" in any sense and is it really better "out there"?
Thanks! |

this is, in my opinion the biggest problem that people with As have...trying to fit in.
remember normal for AS is AS..learn this and then try and fit in after you have learned this.
trying to fit in before you have this worked out leads to ALL the AS problems we hear about. |

I have found the "right" planet created my own asplanet of course it runs parallel to the wrong planet I believe to understand who we truly are, I now allow myself my differences, society still is not excepting in general, but I find places and spaces... like watching the ocean and patterns on the beach, I allow myself to really see and understand as I was never allowed before. I am still Making Sense of things, but enjoying the journey: http://asplanet.info/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=83&Itemid=129 _________________ "Believe in your self, we are who we are - as it can feel like an endless task trying to be someone else!" As much as I can't stand paradoxes, Wrong Planet is the right planet
As far as when I'm away from here, I do pretty well being an interplanetary tourist here on earth most of the time. It is just those times where I'm totally misunderstood that I wish and wait for someone to beam me up.... |

I have never felt that I was on the wrong planet. Earth is fine for me. It's a gorgeous little blue orb, and in a way I consider it my mother.
As a 21-year old, I can't say that it's exceptional for my age category that I'm searching for my place in this world just because I'm on the spectrum. There are thousands of young non-autistic people out there doing the same. I hope that I will have found my place eventually, I'm thinking at least two years from now. I'll get back to you if I haven't found my place by then. _________________ Clarity of thought before rashness of action. |

Welcome.
