I think it changes sometimes because some questions seem easier this second time. I took it a couple weeks ago and got the following
117/200 Aspie
NT 78/200

TODAY June28th

138/200 Aspie
51/200 NT

Has anyone else done this? (I think there were easier questions to understand this time around so I answered them better.) Smile

Probably because you had some time to reflect on the questions and what it was really asking that may or may not have pertained to your life.

I don't know. Did you cheat? Copy answers off another's paper? There are days (I'm not kidding about this) when I truly am more autistic. I don't know why this is so, but it is. I think some variation is always expected; I would be surprised if you got precisely the same score each time (unless you memorized the questions). I think most tests allow for this deviation. There is always a range. For ex: By convention, an 'A' test score is 90-100, B = 80-89, etc. Tests that just have mutiple choice answers can be tricky since they require some interpretation.

Mine were constant, and they were always like 191/200 Aspie, and 30/200 NT.

My results were always "You are very likely neurotypical".

My AQ scores were always in the single digits.

Yet I have a formal AS diagnosis.

I did a little test... I took the test 3 times; the first time on initial reaction, the second based on how I thought others saw me, the last based on how I thought of myself. My scores were 168, 164, and 172 respectively.

All of these tests do is merely look for specific high-frequency criteria or common phenomena between elements on the spectrum; not good for diagnostic purposes, just pointing a direction. Looks like your symptoms show up on the RDOS but not the AQ determining factors. I think you're fortunate to have the formal diagnosis.

I got something like 112 Aspie 88 NT. So I am a hybrid:)!

There are some tricky questions like "People say..." I always answer "never" to them since I have idea what people say...

I first saw this quiz on Aspergia (the original @2003 ) and at every re test, I become less "Aspie"! This may have something to do with the fact that I am willing to submt evidence of my psychometric testing...and Leif and Inger are not?

I suspect it may partially be due to interacting with other aspies online and, over time, recognizing that you had certain characteristics you did not think about at the time.

Yes, this is plausible. And individuals 'evolve' as they investigate their autism through introspection. Oftentimes any given test-taker will show 'regression to the mean' (statistical analysis) as well, which may be a factor. Might not be too much concerned about the actual score, but the range/trend shown.

cybOrg, oh yeah...good answer! Or, my dog ate it! I feel that way about tests myself too....sigh. Very Happy
