Is this meant to imply that Aspies are introverted because they are self-centered?

Are you proposing a cure or are you asking if we know of one?

Frankly, I have OFTEN asked if I could be helpful, and often HAVE helped. It doesn't solve anything.

If the current rate of over-diagnosis of autism continues then AS wont be a majority, it'll be the entirety.

This only works in the short term. I have met many Aspies who are like this. It sorta works but it is really bad with long term relationships. You end up spending all of your time serving NT "friends" who have no gratitude and could care less about you. If you marry someone using this attitude it is worse. You do everything for a woman or man who couldn't care less.

In an NT relationship you have to maintain your status as an equal of you cease to be a friend. Think of it like being friends with a cat. If you a feed a cat it doesn't respect you. You have to act like a cat to get respect. The best choice is to remember situations on how an NT acts and emulate. See what works for you and repeat it. For example talking about the weather is a good non conversation so important to NTs. Listen to how they argue and emulate it. Or play on it. Remember you cannot think how they think so carefully observe how they react to stimulus. Once you have learned how to get the reaction you want use the stimulus again.

I am very good at this, but it's usually when I am mocking them.
