The ancient-Israelites were the same people as the Canaanites, but they later evolved a different god, with a different set of laws from the other Cananites in the region.
The Bible is a hoax for giving the Canaanites a bastard descent to their Canaanite brethren who didn't share the same god as they did.
They basically labeled all their enemies in ancient times as the descendants of Ham.
The Israelite were the Southern-Phoenicians, That means; from the region south of Jaffa, and all the way north, almost to Tyre.
Tyre would have been a mixed city of Israelites and Sidonians.
but that would be the same, racially speaking, or at least it was the same race in those days.
Both Israelites and Sidonians were Cananites.
The coastal Israelite were the Southern-Phoenicians (south of Tyre), and the Sidonian Phoenicians were the Phoenicians of Tyre and all the way north to Beirut.
The word "Phoenician" originally was not a name of a race, but the people of the Levantine-coast who traded in purple, blue, and crimson cloth, taking the dye from the Murex Sea-Snail that reached the East-Mediterranean coast-line.
The Cananaites were comprised of Horrites (also known as Hurrians), Hittites, Amorites, etc....
All of which were Indo-European tribes that migrated from Anatolia and North-Mesopotamia.
Also the Sea-Peoples invaded the Levantine coast, but they were originally Minoans that left the Isle of Crete. |

Peacefully ,yes...and only by the true descendants of Ancient Jew whities from Russia or Ethiopian Jew. maybe a serious DNA study on great scale should be done for this issue.

LePetitPrince, its always nice to hear something from some 'in the area' so to speak just because your closer, have a good context of the history of the region (as much as we'd have for American History). Like anything, I rarely fully agree with any given argument about the ethics just because, I'll be the first to admit how much I really don't know. Interesting account on the history though, and I'm glad you posted as much just because you're explaining a geographical dynamic of things that I hadn't heard before (at least in so many words).
I have been reading 'A Brief History of Israel' by Bernard Reich and it does sound like things are a bit patchy, that the region has always been inhabited by multiple groups (the bible doesn't even dispute that), and the book lays out rather plainly that the core problems today go back to what happened in 1920 with the British telling two distinct groups of people that they had land rights to the same piece of land; each without telling the other that these weren't 'exclusive' land rights. Trouble is so many different groups conquered the area, so much went into disrepair, and so many people moved out of the region during the last millennium that it has all gotten rather confusing. |
