I can tell you they I often can't stand them. Ever since I became one it's been evident to me how stupid most of them appear to act.

I'm a girl, but I love boys in my age group. They know exactly what's funny and how to kill time. I have a bunch of 13- to 16-year-old friends who are boys and they're great. They may act stupid but they're just having fun. _________________ º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,

IMO, nothing wrong with adolescent boys that a slap to the side of the head and 8 years in the army wouldn’t cure.
I live in a neighborhood that is infested with them every Friday night. Unlike roaches they are drawn to the light, especially if it is emanating from a BudLite neon sign. They are socially-retarded jerks that seem to aspire to become Beavis or Butthead in real life. Low-self-esteem girls are then attracted to the lights and testosterone, ‘hang’ with them, get pregnant, and have little Buttheads, often at the taxpayers expense.
Seriously – I am sure there are some “good kids” who we don’t see precisely because they are not hanging out on the corner, making snickering comments. But the stereotype exists because there are a million that fit it.
Shoot them now before they multiply!
P.S. I know this is arrogant, but at age 14 you should not be "killing time", you should be studying so you can become something other than a baby factory.

I never much liked them when I was one, either. That's why the vast majority of my friends in high school were girls. I think the surge of hormones damages the male brain and causes them to become violent and stupid during adolescence; the effect is more pronounced among neurotypical males. Fortunately, this brain damage is usually temporary and begins to fade with the end of puberty in most cases.

Nothing wrong with adolescent lads in themselves otherwise I'd be self-harming, but yeah, I find most of them intimidating, and several years' army experience can only make things worse.

I don't think I ever disliked them. I didn't hate boys when I was at that age but when I got older I started to dislike boys. They were all loud and noisy and messy. I can also remember my little brother when he was 11, he start messing with stuff in the car or at home and Mom tell him to stop and he would say "I'm bored." Mom said that was normal behavior for an 11 year old and I did the same thing at that age. I don't even remember doing those things. My other brother certainally didn't act that way. _________________ http://www.factcheck.org/

I just can't stand people. The younger, the worse. Although, there's a threshold on the other side, because really old people are so stuck in their ways.

Actually, my 14 year old brother is one of my very best friends. I'm so glad mom and dad had him!

As a group, most preteens to adolecents of both genders are difficult for me to spend much time with. They may just be trying to balance being goofy with trying extra hard to be adults, but too many of them are annoyingly eager for attention and rarely do so by saying or doing something intelligent. Of coarse there are many exceptions, and a handful that even I like somewhat.

Depends on the boy, really. I had difficulties with both genders of that age group on a general basis, but every once and a while, someone would make sense to me. It was probably actually easier for me to relate to boys of that age as friends at a certain point because there wasn't the usual sort of tension, and I tried (with mixed success) to relate to them as just other people rather than as potential mates or some such.

I tend to find as many adolescent girls are just as bad sometimes. And people younger and older than the teenage group. But not every teenager is the same at all. There are some who are really nice, down to earth people, unfortunately they don't seem to outweigh the ones who are the complete opposite. |

I'm not crazy about teenagers in general. There were some giggling hyperactive teen girls in the cinema last week. I was with my dad and asked him "Was I ever like that?????" He didn't remember me being that silly. Then I remembered, I was never part of a big group like that so never had the chance to get stupid and giggly with 10 other people in a cinema. I don't understand NT teenagers because I never was one.

Boys-terous topic
I am the mother of one NT adolescent male. My oldest NT daughter, who had a difficult time as a teen, had attitude problems, as does the younger one. I have had to have counseling for all my kids. This is a difficult time for an Aspie parent.
Teen boys, I find, tend to be either rude or tuned out. My son's behaviour is slowly improving, and I see his strengths. I hope some of me rubbed off on him! _________________ Radical Aspergian
