Hi. I'm wondering if there are any aspies in the Nevada area, especially around Reno, though I would also accept some northeastern californians, around here. If there are we should meet up and get some kind of aspie support group going or some such :p.

Nevada, yes. Reno, no.

I'm actually right smack dab in downtown ghettosville Vegas. It's hot as frak here, srsly.

I wish I was in Reno... is cooler...

Reno is pretty hot right now too. So I guess Vegas must be really bad.

Yea, and I live in a literal brick oven that up until a week ago didn't have air. So it was like 110 outside, 140 inside.

I miss Reno. Went there on holiday, LOVED all the green. More towards Elko and Ely to be sure, but it was nice up there.

Still probably not as bad as Phoenix though. I spent the summer in Phoenix a couple years ago. I am surprised I remained a solid through the whole experience. The summer here has been fairly nice though. Lots of green and trees. It's great fun to go down by the truckee river and float around.

Yeah, we actually have some water around here, it's amazing. We also have a couple of nice lakes withing short driving distance. I feel sorry for people who live in Vegas, it is way too deserty. I visited Vegas a couple years ago. I really cannot see why the whole world seems to like it so much. It's all casinos and desert and crappy stage shows. I could not wait to get out of there.

Hence why I'm moving to the Sydney area.

I don't even know how many people have asked me, 'Which casino do you live in?' It's only since CSI that people started to get there was more here than nekked chicks and slot machines.

Would that be Sydney, Australia, or this another Sydney, which I am unfamiliar with? For quite a long time as a kid I was unsure whether people actually lived in Vegas or whether it was all just casinos. I don't think I was completely sure until I actually visited there. Now that I have visited there, I know there definitely is nothing there worth seeing besides nekked chicks and slot machines, and we have plenty of those in Reno, anyway.
