Hi, folks:

I have a new version of AutCode, which I think is more user-friendly than previous ones. I added a couple more variables (~ and &) and made the inclusion of traits optional. One's markup/code can be as short as one likes:

you copyrighted the code?

when I first see it it seems complicated but it's simply small things put together...hmm.

Not the code- just the text of what I wrote. Anything one writes is automatically copyrighted, unless the writer gives it up.

Exactly. It is not complicated at all.

Cool, I like it.

AutCode 2.24: ACa% BD07201988 CS^ EDh~ GDm GM= HSp HT+ IDp IN- LG+ MA+ MU=(+) NT+(^)>- OCps PN= RRn>u SC= SDs(i) SOg>b SRa& SV- VB=(^) VSn(s)

(I think the "-----Begin AutCode 2.24 Block-----" and "-----End AutCode 2.24 Block----- " is a little much. Why not keep it simple?)

edit: Also, may I suggest WR for writing talent, and/or CR for creativity?

edit2: This wasn't mentioned on the page, but sometimes more than one descriptor can be applied to a trait. For example, I used "OCps" to indicate that I have a part-time job, but am primarily supported by my parents. Another example where this might be useful is GDtm or GDtf. If this is valid AutCode, it should be noted on the page.

It is all optional. The only reason I did that was so that people would be able to recognize the code - since they all look about the same (Geek Code, ASC, etc.).

I will add the one for writing. For creativity, I added categories for the visual arts and the performing arts.

That is where I talked about ranges. I mentioned that a person could have, say, MTf(u)(d), which would mean that the person's mode of transportation ranged between walking, taking a bus, and driving. I adopted the use of parentheses for ranges from Geek Code.

However, now that you mention it, I will only include a single parentheses, like MTf(ud).

Writing was added under the term, "language arts."

Something I noticed about #21:
Quote:
# PA for performing arts: PA- (not much interest), PA= (an average level of interest), PA+ (more than an average level of interest), or PA= (very interested).

PA= (an average level of interest)
PA= (very interested)
If you are going to express two different levels of interest shouldn't there be two different symbols?
Ambiguity is the worst form of confusion. Confused

OK:

-----Begin AutCode 2.25 Block-----
ACa# AN- !BD CA= CS^$ EDs FR->^@ GDm GM- HSh HT^ IDc IN=(+$-)>^$ LA^ LG^ MA+>^ MTd MU= NT=>^$ OCf$ PA= PN=>^ !RR SC+>- SDi(s) SI2(4)$ SOs SRm(a) ST+ SV+$ VA- VB+$ VSn WT+
-----End AutCode 2.25 Block-----

BTW You shouldn't say average weight. My weight probably IS about average for a male, but I AM over weight!!!! And am I missing something, or do you not have a form to do this? I did the above manually.
