...any other fans? One of the originators of synthesizer technology, and one of the most familiar, least known composers of the 20th century... I think he is greatly under-appreciated.

Moog built hardware designed by Scott; as the industry progressed, he began incorporating Scott's designs and improving upon them. RS built a mechanical theremin controlled by a standard format keyboard, and an early sequencer. His library was purchased from when he had his own jazz sextet (septet) by Warner Bros. - the music you heard with Bugs Bunny growing up was largely from his catalogue. Do you remember the one where Bugs is being chased through a bamboo-like forest by a cannibal? That is a Raymond Scott tune entitled "Dinner Music for a Pack of Hungry Cannibals"... "Powerhouse" is another well-known tune.

Yeah, I love it (and I couldna resist delving into Carl Stalling's work too). Listening to my RS cd right now, I don't remember the exact cartoons that the tracks were part of, but I get an overall good feeling just hearing this stuff again. _________________ Checkout: Folding@home!
