For me I have to say yes!

1)Family (Oh this is normal no big deal right sure)
2)Friends (CASE IN POINT I HAVE ZERO!)
3)Students (I upset them therefore they do not become my friend)
4)teachers( Elementary school was the prinicipals office and upseting my College teacher got me suspended)
5)coworker (the topic of Sexual Harrassment got brought up)
6)Bosses (I'd get yelled at and they'd confuse me with what I was supposed to be doing at the time.)

My family and few friends are more disappointed in me than upset. Disappointed that I don't have friends, a job, any type of school career, social skills ect. Oh well at least I can say I'm my own person.

Yeah, I feel like I've either upset or disappointed most of the people I've ever known. It's why I have no friends and no job right now. I have no idea why my boyfriend is still with me Sad

I am very fortunate in this regard. I have caused distress to people ( who hasn't ) but my family has never acted like they were ready to disown me. I am thankful for that.

While I haven't upset anyone, I feel that a lot of others have upset me.

I think the question is when?
My experience is most NTs seem to have a memory of about 3 seconds. So an incident that is at the front of your mind from last week or last year doesn't exist for them. The issue is that you are still living it. Not that they are.

1)Family (Oh this is normal no big deal right sure)

2)Friends (CASE IN POINT I HAVE ZERO!)
Find an Aspie that you can be friends with. You will also fit with heavy thinkers.

3)Students (I upset them therefore they do not become my friend)
Avoid anyone who isn't a thinker. Emoters will drive you insane. Make an exception for a mate if you are male. Finding a female thinker can be difficult.

4)teachers( Elementary school was the prinicipals office and upseting my College teacher got me suspended)
Find a teacher with an interest in something you like to focus in. Try to get them to help you research it.

5)coworker (the topic of Sexual Harrassment got brought up)
Common issue among younger Aspies. Key is learning how to attract women by not chasing them or playing Alpha Male. NT interactions are often about mis portraying reality. Figure out how to rationalize it so you can do it as well and fit in.

6)Bosses (I'd get yelled at and they'd confuse me with what I was supposed to be doing at the time.)
Bosses who yell usually are completely incompetent. It works but it has major long term negative effects. It is only really effective in an employee grinding environment like fast food. Even then it degrades customer service a lot.

The good news is that: Until you take a career job Emoters tend to rule the world. Once you get over that hump most mid to high level managers are Thinkers which you will get along well with. That manager who yells btw is most likely an emoter. Their reaction to a problem is to get mad. That is one my theories as to why Aspies "disappear" once they become adults. The work / 21+ world is much more Aspie friendly than school. In fact most Aspies I know in programming thrive. We can't all be Bill Gates but we can do well.

Yes, everyone. I have "friends" - a few people I've known most my life. But they have all grown up, got married and jobs and now treat me with disrespect. Like they don't really like me deep down. Or like they used to respect me and now they're glad to have something over me. Whenever they go on holidays, I never get invited. I have no one to talk to. No wonder we get attached to machines etc.

Sounds like a perfect profesion, do the Aspies get bored of programming all day every day for a job?
