Here's some reasons why:

I'm not an aspie.
I'm not an adult.
I'm not social or normal.
I'm not in no mainstream class or college.
Not a lot of people on here like the things I like.
Not a lot of people on here agree with what I say.
I don't write any long posts (they're always too hard for me to read and understand).
I don't have a job.
I'm not interested in any relationships.
I don't have any "best friend drama" or anything.
I don't know anything about stuff like politics, current events, etc.

I don't dislike you any. If you want people to talk to you have to have something in common just start threads like that and see who joins.

What you describe... describes many people here. Just because we share one aspect does not mean that we will share all others. I don't fit a lot of the mold here, but it is some place that resonates with me, and I find answers here that works for me where the previous attempts have failed.

What about music?

You do realize there are NTs as well as aspies on this site right and not all of them are adults?

But if you don't relate at all with as many members as there are on WP, why not try other sites?

I hardly know your interstests. I find many members with various interests espeacially in the Art, Writing, and Music Forum since it's a good way to express those interests or Random Discussion.

Also there are interests of mine that I find many people not into. I've had about 4 threads I've posted with 1 or 2 replies so not everybody is going to share everybody's interests espeacially with the amount of people there are on this site.

We are all different, there are no two people exactly alike on this site. Some of the things you mentioned apply to me as well.

Some of my interests are unique to me, as I haven't seen anyone else with a couple of mine, and that's what makes me different. Everyone else has things that makes them unique too.

You'll find you're more like members here than you think, but I mean that in a good way. Smile

I feel for ya man. You should know that at your age, people often feel like they're all alone in the universe. You're not. There are hundreds of thousands of people like you but you're one in 1/2 billion. You'll find your place in this world, trust me.

I think I might know what you're thinking. "You're 35, more than twice my age. How could you possibly know what it's like?"

To me, 16 wasn't all that long ago. The memories of being 16 are as crisp and clear as the memories from last week are.

This may or may not help but, one day, I was in a crisis office waiting for an intake. I was crying and sobbing and feeling like no one loved or cared about me. I felt all alone. I calmed down a but but still in that hole and I picked up a magazine. In the magazine was an image that would completely change my outlook on life and my situation...

It was a little something like this:

Suddenly, my problems didn't seem all that big anymore. I knew there were people in the world suffering far worse than I could ever imagine. It didn't take away from the pain of feeling alone but I had this feeling like my problems, my issues were tiny compared to others'. So I got up, dusted myself off and realized I could have it a lot worse and did what I could to make my life a little better. I can do it. You can do it. Just do it.

Take an interest in extracurricular activities at school. Take up playing an instrument, go play card games at the comic book store. Do what you can to get out there and make friends and live life. There's so much out there.

Go fourth, young man.

It's in my profile.

There is an art section where you can share your interests in animation and TV and movies section if you are into cartoon shows or movies

What is your autism diagnoses instead?

I'm not a true aspie either even though it's my diagnoses.

You're only 16, why would anyone expect you to have a job, you still go to high school right?

There are others here who aren't "normal" or social.

Of course you're not in college, you're only 16.

There are other teens on this forum too.

Rodger does it matter that you don't feel like anybody is like you on this site. Just relax and be yourself.

I don't really think anybody is like anybody else on this site, everybody is different. I think I'm more ADD than AS, but I find it interesting.

It's okay, there isn't really anyone like me on this site, either.

Besides... I approved your Friend request on Myspace. I only approve people I like, and you're one of them! Smile
