Can anyone recommend a diet soda that doesn't taste like a diet soda?

If you regularly drink regular soda and then take a sip of the diet version of it, you'll know what I mean.

The closest I've come is diet wild cherry pepsi.

Which do you suppose is the lesser of two evils: Whole milk or cola? I mean fat and calorie wise?

I kinda want to quit drinking colas because I've seen what a dark cola can do to someone's teeth and since milk isn't dark, it can't stain.

yeah i know what you mean about the grosness of diet drinks.
i tried a diet rite one from my dad and it was okay better than the aspartame ones cause it's got splenda in it.
there 's also those single servr powders that you can add to bottles of water.
crystal light tastes like a diet drink but some of the nestea ones with splenda in it don't taste too bad. if you don't like straight water.

i would limit the consumption of whole milk to maybe a glass a day because of the fat content in it and then you could drink a lower fat version of the milk.

too much soda of any kind isn't good for you, especially your teeth and stomach.
kool aid singles with 10 calories may be okay too and they come in drink pouches.

i hope you have all this stuff there but i assume you do.

Coke Zero, tastes like Coke, and it doesn't have that funkey after taste, but mikebw is right, diet pop is not good for you and may contribute to weight gain and other damaging health effects, try switching to green tea, and avoid soda's both sugar and diet.

I hate to say it, but ALL diet soda tastes alike.

Diet Rite was all right, but I couldn't drink it anymore. Without the sugar, it tastes no good. But I drink soda every now and then, so i can't talk about the health aspects of it.

The best is the Diet Coke that they sell in Mexico.

Personally, I always prefered diet coke to normal coke. From way before I started to worry about my weight. Don't like coke zero though, it has a nasty after taste.

But anyway, if you don't like diet fizzy drinks, try something else instead like other people have suggested. Water is always good for you, and doesn't stain your teeth.

Diet rite is really good.

But most diets soft drinks that are aspartame free are usually good also. Just read the ingredients. If you see aspartame in there any where, then you can be assured that it will takes like crap. Around here, we have a grocery chain called PUBLIX and they make some really good aspartame free diet drinks.

That is the ONLY thing I drink. I never drink water. Its too unhealthy.

Soda has nothing but refined sugar and other additives that actually cause you to feel sick, run down, and sluggish. Milk, though it has the fat, also has a ton of nutrients. Plus, the fat will not spike your insulin levels the way refined sugar will. As long as you realize that both provide calories then you should be fine, but milk, even whole milk, is much better than soda.

To me all diet sodas taste the same. I can't stand them! I don't drink them. I stick with regular soda or something else.

Thats because nearly all diet sodas still contain aspartame. If you try something like Diet Rite or Pepsi One, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

As far as milk goes, its way too expensive and lacks essential nutrients like caffeine. Diet Rite is caffeine free and sodium free, but you can't have everything.

drink beer

seriously, guinness has fewer calories than skim milk. i was thinking of going on the guinness diet a little while ago, where i would substitute all my milk for guinness, but i realized i'd probably end up substituting breakfast, lunch, dinner, desert, snacks, and water for guinness Twisted Evil so i didn't do it.... it's a bit difficult to drive to school after a guinness breakfast.

anyways i used to drink soda, now i don't. the last time i drank it was at a friend's party, and that was only because there were copious amounts of rum in it (his last name is morgan and he just got promoted to captain in the military, so LOTS of captain morgan rum at that perty). i can't stand artificial sweeteners. i had to switch brands of protein shake when i was using them because the one i had had too much sweetener in it. i've had coke c2, which i believe has half the sugar and no sweetener, and it wasn't bad. it tasted like coke, just a bit weaker. i think i also tried coke zero and it wasn't as bad. it still had artificial sweetener but there was less of it and it wasn't all aspartame so it wasn't as bad. all in all though i'd say avoid soda completely, it's no good for you.

well that's all for me folks, i'm off to enjoy my favourite fizzy drink of all: beer!
