| No, I think we are alienated from him just like we are alienated from all of his creation. |

| Oh for f*cks sake.. You have a disability or in general something that makes you different from people mostly in a negative manor and you feel that makes you closer to this God? Maybe God hates you, in this situation that would make the most sense. In general I don't even know how people are believing such primitive crap but whatever it isn't my business to open this discussion. |

I thought autistics were closer to Satan _________________ We all dream; we do not understand our dreams, yet we act as if nothing strange goes on in our sleep minds, strange at least by comparison with the logical, purposeful doings of our minds when we are awake. -Erich Fromm |

maybe not 'closer to God', but there is a St-Francis of Assisi-like quality. A purity.
My 9yr old has Asperger's, and, even though he is socially awkward around NT kids his age, I've seen parents of Autistic children just stare in quiet joy when my son and their child share a moment. One mother was pretty amazed -- she said to me 'that's really amazing. My son never talks to anyone'. I've seen this other times too when he's around other Aspie boys, or the elderly. It's pretty cool.
Sometimes he has a way to make people feel like they're best friends when they may have otherwise felt uncomfortable. |

Oh yes being 15 years old reduces my credibility in being annoyed at religious people? You can find people four times my age saying the same things, I was making the rather obvious conclusion that if you believe in God and if you believe he gave you Aspergers for a reason it's far from him wanting to be close to you maybe he's bored and feels like f*cking with people's lives. I really can't think of a better reason other than that he has nothing to do with it or the best solution: He doesn't exist. |

Oh come on. You didn't expect a good argument out of people who ask these sort of questions, did you? _________________ Please check out my WP blog! |

I don't know about that; could be the equivalent of a 50-odd year old living off welfare.
BTW, I would expect them to be more useful down here, helping us keep those demons and monsters under control. With them trying to get out of the vaults and back up into the above-world, it's a pretty hard job doing it with the numbers we have. Besides, we tried some of those fundamentalists and politicians, and all they were doing was sitting around the Arena smoking a couple of doobs and waiting for Morteth to come and slay a few poor immigrants. Lazy bunch, maybe we should toss them into the pit for Asmodaeus to finish them off. _________________ I am the Lord of Deadside.
