Merriam-Webster will be putting the word mondegreen in the new copies of their dictionary. A mondegreen is a set of song lyrics that are misinterpreted to be something other than what is being sung.

An example would be the line There's a bad moon on the rise from Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Bad Moon Rising" being taken as There's a bathroom on the right.

Any other "mondegreens" you can come up with?

Youtube the Video Fishmaster by Nightwish... The song is actually called Wishmaster and the whole thing is a animated video about what people think they are hearing. It's quite funny.

In the beginning of the song "Kimi wo Nosete" (the ending theme to something called "Laputa"), it sounds like they're saying "I know she hates him", but in reality they're saying "ano chiheisen".

Also, in the song "Spelar Ingen Roll" by Caramell, it sounds like they're saying "say you're lonely", when in reality they're saying "säger om dig".

The entire song "Kalluri Vanil" by Prabhu Deva sounds like a mondegreen to English-speakers:

In the song by Cher the line "Gypsies,Tramps and Thieves, the people come around to lay
their money down" has been misinterpreted as

"Gypsies,Chimpanzees, the people come around to lay their monkey down"

In the Beatles' Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, the line "The girl with kaleidescope eyes" has been taken as "The girl with colitis goes by".

Billy Joel
"You may be right,I may be crazy
But it just may be a lunatic you're looking for"

Misheard as
"You make the rice,I'll make the gravy
But it just may be a tuna fish you're looking for"

In the song I'd Really Love to See You Tonight, the line "I'm not talkin' about movin' in" is often understood as "I'm not talkin' about the linens". This happens because the singer stresses the wrong syllable on the word movin'.
