Is there any way to remove the pop-ups between pages?
Are you allowed to say?
I just click as fast as possible the "skip ad", screw the timer. |

any edition of FF has always blocked pop-ups or at least the vast majority of them. IMDb is the biggest offender lately for me.
Like I said, I've never had a pop-up on WP.

These aren't really pop-ups. That is, a distinctly different thing than what's usually called pop-ups, which are a separate webpage.
And, yes, they are annoying. |

The best cure for pop ups, is getting firefox 3 and using the ad blocker plugin, I can't stand pop ups, or those insane flashing advertisements.

I must be doing something wrong. I have FF3 and the ad blocker and I have blocked dozens of adds but they still pop up.

you have to subscribe to the add blocking site, go to tools and click adblock plus and select filters, it will I would select Easy list, it contains all the site definitions that can be blocked

FF3 works for me, but i'm at the Library right now...which uses IE. And I am getting those annoying full screen ads for Classmates.com and Netflix.

We get different ad's here in canada, mostly Canadian Tire or Beer and Back Bacon, or the new 09 Snowmobiles

I believe he's referring to the interstitials (Thank you Yowling Cat for the link and the term), but didn't know what to call them so incorrectly called them pop-ups. I've never seen a pop up here, but I do get the interstitials.
Personally, I choose not to let the delay bother me. |
