(Page 48-49, Author David Kirby, Year 2005)

- Vaccines with Thimerosal are made with 0.01 % mercury.
- The kind of mercury is "EthylMercury", which is an organic compound and easily absorbed by fatty membranes as opposed to being collected by the kidneys and excreted in urine.
- EthylMercury has a "half-life" of 7 days (The EthylMercury levels in your blood drop by half every 7 days).
- EthylMercury levels might be accurately measured via hair samples. It is by this method that the EPA came to it's 2005 safe level of exposure, which is 0.1 micrograms per kilogram of weight, per day.

The book aledges that by FDA calculations, "a two-month infant weighing 5 kilograms could have been exposed to 62.5 micrograms of mercury in a single day. This would have been 125 times the EPA limit." This is in EthylMercury received via vaccine injections.

I have only read these pages (p. 48-49) and no other, therefore I cannot comment on aledged links between Thimerosal and Autism.

Thimerosol was removed from vaccines in 2000.

Before Lekiwi jumps on this: mercury is still used in the processing of vaccines. However, it is not an end ingredient and, from the mercury used in the processing, trace (as in undetectable) amounts of mercury are still present in the vaccine. However, it is, as said, only trace amounts and nowhere near the amount to have any effect. Even if it is bioaccumulative, the total amount from all the vaccines is still completely insignificant. The flu vaccine still has mercury, unless you request a non-mercury one, which IS available.

Even if you'd read the whole book, it wouldn't mean you knew much about the matter.
