I adore making lists! When I was little I used to write pretend shopping lists, over and over and over again. I love making lists that much, that I am going to make some now.

My Favourite Movies:

Pi
Bladerunner
Alien
Aliens
Alien III
Alien Resurrection
Interview With A Vampire
What Ever Happened To Baby Jane?
Waking Life
Clerks
Clerks II
Velvet Goldmine
The Crow
Trainspotting
Dawn Of The Dead
The Shining
Resevoir Dogs
Pulp Fiction
The Labyrinth
Wargames
Pretty In Pink
The Breakfast Club
Back To The Future
Short Circuit
Short Circuit II
Space Camp
Ghostbusters
Ghostbusters II
Dumb & Dumber
The Green Mile

I'm interested in lists that other people make as well. What are your favourite foods? How about a list of places you have visited? Favourite bands?

I love making top albums lists. I have a RYM account that helps me keep track of my current favourite music.

My lists all involve geographic information.

I obsessively made lists for years...constantly had a stack of them and almost allowed them to drive me nuts. I gave them up, cold turkey and have never looked back...do not even take one with me to grocery shop. But I have to admit, I use more post-it notes at work than I am worth.

My memory is unreliable and I can't multitask and I hyperfocus about everything and my mind chaotically wanders everywhere. So with out lists I'm pretty much screwed. Laughing

I make lists when I consider them handy:

- lists of potential employers ranked per country
- lists of job-website URLs ranked per country
- lists of albums and songs I need to have on my iPod (when making a new playlist)
- lists of the stadiums I visited and still want to visit
- lists of tasks to do for the week
- lists of email addresses and URLs I often need

I don't enjoy it particularly, I just do it because it comes in handy to have your business sorted in an easy way to retrieve info easily.

That's what I'm missing out with in life! Lists! I prefer more abstract ones like uh, why a treadmill is better than a rowing machine to a favourite cinema list, but what matters is I haven't done any in so long!

In fact, this is an example of a good list idea:

I have lists of postal codes, county/city populations, airport codes (both IATA and ICAO), and U.S. county codes.

I like the geographic ones as well or anything that's in the form of a 'league table'.
