My idea of hell is eternal boredom. That would be hell for me.

What's your idea of hell?

And you don't have to actually believe in hell to answer, I don't.

When I was a child, I saw a painting depicting hell where a woman spent her eternity pouring urns of water into a larger container which would never fill. To this day, when someone mentions hell a mental image if this painting comes to mind. I think spending eternity doing the same boring task over and over with no results would certainly be hell.

A big cavern with a lot of fire and partying day and night. Without the restrictions that are stereotypically portrayed when picturing heaven.

I believe in neither heaven nor hell, so I don't have to question myself which one I'd go for. But I never imagined hell like a suffering place, maybe a hedonistic place where sins exist all the time, but I am not sure if that is necessarily worse than a place with a lot of restrictions.

Neither heaven nor hell attract me that much really, earth is good enough for me and has enough beauty to offer Smile

A lot of people I've talked to picture Hell as a place with lots of fire and being really hot and flames everywhere, but I've always pictured it as being very cold and desolate... a place without heat or warmth.

Maybe that's just me and the fact that I like fire. Twisted Evil

Dobson would be hell if it had fire and brimstone. Mad

Without those it's more of a purgatory.

This life is my idea of hell. Although there's some worse than others, like torture and/or famine.

being helpless, knowing that you want something and that it will never happen. not being able to change or fix things or progress. stagnation. everyday life most days.

forget where i heard this quote, but it depressed me- hell is where the person you are meets the person you had the potential to become

IKEA

Way too many people and a floor plan designed to lead you through every inch of the store before you can escape. I was having a panic attack before I got out of there.

Now I'm getting depressed. Most of your descriptions of hell sound like my life right now! Except for Ikea- I wouldn't mind having some of that stuff to replace the collection of milk crates and stuff from the sidewalk I live with now!
Seriously, my idea of Heaven is being with all the people I've loved and lost, so hell would be- finding out there is no Heaven.

I love their furniture, but the place itself? shaking shaking

I would definitely recommend against any Aspie going there. If you like their stuff, order online.
