Ex-cop sentenced for pulling over woman for number

Quote:
The woman became suspicious when he began asking her if she was married or had a boyfriend, police said.

That's pretty messed up... I mean, if you say no to something like that, do they start manufacturing charges against you?

Lol, this happened to my mom years ago, boy was she pissed! Would have been about 1988 or so, the thought of filing a lawsuit never occurred to her, even though it seems pretty obvious in retrospect. Apparently, after she figured out what was going on she asked if the guy was going to write her a ticket or what, and he said "well, do you want me to write you a ticket?" in this sort of faux-seductive way, it was kind of pathetic. Anyway, just funny to see it still happens ocasionally.

I think a lot of people become cops so they can push people around.

I think those power-seekers get weeded-out during the process of becoming a cop.

LOL! Boy, are you NAIVE. REALLY naive!

Let's just say that I'm in the legal field and my mother was in criminal justice and we can both honestly and unequivocally say that that is complete and total naive, idealistic bullshit. In fact, it's quite the opposite, in too many cases.
