Anyone here walk like this? I sometimes walk on my heels around the house and my boyfriend whom I met here walks on his toes around the house. I also go up steps on my toes, I wonder why aspies do this?

I used to walk on my toes when I was younger all the time, I remember being told to walk properly by my nan and I had no idea what she was talking about. I only realised what she meant when I got older.

I walk on my out-stretched toes. They are very long.

When I had the urge to run as a child, I would run on my toes. But that is all.

mom said I never used my knees when I was learning to crawl, always my streched out toes and my fingers or hands. I also bounced on my rear a lot giving me the name of "bouncy bouncy bawley" they would say I would bawl or cry like a young calf when I bounced into something and hurt myself.

I go up on my toes all the time. I was very much a toe walker as I child. I got teased for it constantly...especially in 3rd and 4th grade....it falls in with my cruddy motor development..and um...while toe-walking is not necc. a trait exclusive to Aspies, apparently, if a kid does not outgrow it after a certain age, it is a clue that there might be something off with their neurological development ..according to what I have read.

It is also common in folks with cerebral palsy..which I don't have.

I went to a foot doctor once who wanted to give me a crazy expensive operation.
I am glad i didn't take it.
I like walking in my toes.

I'd walk on my toes and heels when I'd see cracks in the sidewalk so I could flip the crack with my toe and then land on my heel. I realized it was weird but it just felt so good when I'd catch the crack just right. Now, when I'm at home I walk on my tippy toes a lot. Or, when I rest in a standing position I have a habit of leaning on the outer edge of my feet.

I will walk on my toes when I think the surface is slippery. I have done this at swimming pools.

I walk on my toes sometimes. I'm not sure how much I did it when I was little, but I think I remember it being quite a bit.

I always walk up steps on my toes, and toe-walk around the house when I'm happy or excited (Or just plain energetic) But I generally don't when I'm wearing shoes. Socks are ok though.
