|

Uhmmm.... I don't know whether I should post this in the Adult forum or not, but....
I recently lost my virginity to my fiancé a couple of days ago by accident. He was just sliding between my lubricated thighs, and then he shifted position ever so slightly. Suddently, his penis slipped and he thrusted hard into me, making me feel a very sharp pain that made me scream out loud.
We stopped immediately and he inspected my vagina, and saw that I was bleeding. I still hurt for the next hour or so. For the next day and a half, I found it painful to sit a certain way.
Today, it still feels tender to the touch, and when we inspected it today, it looked like we had torn something other than the hymen.
Since the accident, we have completely refrained from any sexual activity.
Uhmmm, so now I am asking, did it hurt when you lost your virginity? And if it did hurt, how long did it continue to hurt afterwards?
I want to know whether this pain is normal, or if we really did something wrong. _________________ "NORMALITY: One day we will find the cure." |

As a guy from my perspective taking my girlfriends virginity, we were up front with each other and she never felt anything like that.
My observation of "virginity" means not just penetration but also stimulation. My theory is that you wasn't aroused and therefore the opening to you wasn't prepared and relaxed being tight and not lubricated naturally. Similar to the effect of having someone twisting your arm in opposite directions.
When you are fully aroused penetration shouldn't be like this - it's just an accident and most accidents usually involve pain. I'd wait a while before you try sex itself. Just don't let it put you off. If it did hurt, where would the human race be |

Actually, I was very, very aroused (and really well-lubricated), and was fully enjoying the activity right up until the accident. Sorry, I should have included that.
But I suppose in my mind, I was not AT ALL ready for actual penetration, even though my body appeared to be. _________________ "NORMALITY: One day we will find the cure." |

In my case, it hurt quite a bit, and it took about 2 weeks for all the soreness to go away. Yes, there was blood. You're probably just fine, so feel free to have sex (if you're mentally ready for it) whenever you feel healed enough.
On the plus side, now when you eventually do it, it should be relatively painless for you. |

| Ok, I was never aware of that some girls get pain... Well, if you find it's time to lose your virginity then I would recommend taking control. This would mean getting on top, this way you can control anything straight away if there are any problems. Start out slowly. Sometimes the pain is numbed out in favour of pleasure - but only when you are into it |

Keith, that sounds good, but in theory....
Well some find it much more painful than others, everybody's different. It can range from a quick sting to prolonged agony. But if you're going to have sex, you have to get through it.
Skill on the guy's part is a plus though.
And some people, it doesn't hurt at all. One way to find out..... |

| It may be best to go to a gynecologist all the same, whether or not there's an actual problem. It's always good to start going to one when you've become sexually active, just for a check-up. I broke my own hymen, with pain and some blood, and was sore for a day or two. But everyone is different. It might also be in your best interests to investigate yourself.. maybe use a mirror or just feel around and make sure that nothing else hurts. I'm not sure what you really could have torn, unless it was the labia, but that's a different area and different sort of pain. So, really, things should be fine but get a check-up anyway! I hope it feels better soon. |

Nah, just something you'll never experience since you're a guy.

Good point, this is true. It's not anything we look foward to, but necessary and tolerable. |

Not answering the question myself. But - are you sure he did this accidentally??
(Edit: I will explain why I asked. Slipping is one thing - but he shifted position and then thrust hard enough to break through? That sounds deliberate.)
Oh and to answer your 2nd question. If you feel the tear goes past the normal and you are still in pain days later it might be good to go to the ob-gyn. I have heard of bad tears happening, and you'd want this to heal properly were that the case. Everyone's different. Some tear just by horse riding or something like that, others it takes a lot more.
A violent thrust like he made, could do some damage though, especially if you were not prepared for it. This is the type of thing some guys would either plan sneakily, ("I'm just going to do this" and then they do more suddenly) - and some others might get aroused and carried away, and just go for it all, so to speak. I hope either way he at least apologised, this is no way to lose your virginity. You should have had a say in it! "Accidentally" slipping into a virgin sounds nearly impossible.
Grr...I'm sorry but the story makes me a bit angry! That 'hard thrust' is a real red flag. |

If 'hard thrusts' aren't your thing, stay with women and vibrators. _________________ The shoddier the merchandise -- the more it needs promoting |

Painful, and yes there was blood, but it was good. Just go slow is my advice and make sure it's someone you're comfortable with who cares enough about you to do things at your pace and experiment the first few times until you're more relaxed with the whole thing. _________________ We are a fever, we are a fever, we ain't born typical...

Pain and bleeding are normal since you broke the hymen. I had the same thing, I don't remember how long it lasted but once that was over, sex was very pleasurable.
If your really concerned, go see the doctor but I think what you are feeling is normal. _________________ No matter what your age, you don't need to change the world to find love, sometimes all that has to change is you. Be open to the possibilities. |

Well for some women having sex for the first time is painful, for some other women it isn't. I didn't feel any pain when I had sex for the first time, for me it was actually quite nice. It was all new and exciting and I was a bit tence of course, but that's all. I never had or have high values or morals about verginity or 'losing' it.
If you are worried about the bleeding and the pain just phone your GP. |

i find it difficult to believe that the penetration happened by accident...
For some men it is not easy when they want to do it on purpose ... so by accident?
