Why the attempt to associate disabilities, deformities, and socially repugnant behaviors with Asperger's syndrome? As if we did not have enough of an issue just being Aspies...

Confused

I have never heard of a link, perhaps you could post a poll about this? Personally, my feet are normal.

I don't think there is really any connection. Flat feet should not be seen as a recessive gene issue nor a disability linked to other disabilities. Flat feet is more associated with ethnicity as more darker skin people such as Native Americans and Hispanics are almost all flat footed. Its because we were made to be walking barefoot on the forest floor. Some doctors mistakingly believe flat foot is a fallen arch. But it is not fallen if you were that way from birth. If you have flat foot it is probably just a link from your ethnic past. Races that wore shoes tend to have higher arches because walking in shoes takes different muscles than walking barefoot.

If you feel bad about yourself just get some arch support insoles, feel good about being an Aspie and get on with it. Cheers!

Feet are cool. My physical therapist says I have a foot fetish. So I don't mind talking feet. Actually its sneakers and socks I have an obsession with, but she calls it a foot fetish all the same.

Flat feet aren't really a disability or "socially repugnant". Actually, curious people WILL try to connect unusual traits.

That said.... For what it is worth.... I consider myself AS, and DON'T have flat feet.

i am disguteg by all the smallest toe (you know the one and the left of your left foot, and the one on the right on your right foot!)
I dont like them! I think we should cute them!

i dont have a foot fetish. i dont have anything fetish!!
lol

I only wear one type of shoes, it has to be flat, square at the toes, and cover the ankle (like the kickers!) sock has to cover the ankle. I hate having my ankle without having any pressure on them!

Thank you! lol.. I am curious, and i want to understand who i am... and as you said, being an aspie now is helping me to understand all my unusual traits! so, if having flat feet has a link with that, GREAT! if not: great too! lol

I have extremely high arches, as do my sisters and my kids. I don't think there is any connection.
