| Pan's Labyrinth, Amelie, Old Boy, or the German dubbed version of the original Star Wars (it's effing hilarious). |

I haven't seen a whole lot of foreign films. I liked Pan's Labyrinth & Amelie, thought they were good though not great.
I would say Grave of the Fireflies is my favourite. |

| I haven't seen many foreign films either. Two that I can think of in my collection of old VHS tapes are "Das Boot" and "My Life as a Dog" |

La Vita e Bella, Notte di Cabiria, and La Strada are the only ones that come to mind right now. _________________ Be who you are & say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter & those who matter don't mind. - Dr. Seuss

Wow, I have seen so many foreign films...
I'm a huge fan of Ingmar Bergman.
I would have to say my favorite foreign film is Persona, followed closely by The Seventh Seal.
Persona is my favorite film of all time. _________________ The bats have left the bell tower

Almost all the foreign films I've seen have been good (that's not many, but still).
-Drunken Master
-The Hidden Fortress
-Metropolis (Fritz Lang)
-Police Story
-Pan's Labyrinth
I've watched lots of animated movies, but I've tended to watch those dubbed rather than subtitled. That's basically all of Miyazaki's movies, Akira, Steamboy, and Metropolis (Osumu Tezuka). _________________ I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. |
