I'm also looking forward to it, i read the wikipedia, it said something about new forms of existing pokemon or something, thought aonly deoxys and giratina had different forms,maybe they are changing that who knows...

I think that there is another form for that weird grass pokemon thing, the one that looks like a green hedge hog with green spikes with a flower.

You're right, Shaymin does have another forme too. And here's silhouettes of 5 more new Pokemon that will be in Platinum.

Not particularly, actually. I like Pokémon, but the games are all essentially the same. I'm going to stick with Diamond unless they change the battle system again.

O cool thanks for putting that
A lot of them look like they will be steel and or electric, that one in the top left corner looks like a security camera, the bottom right one looks like it has lightning bolts for arms so it is probably electric and the bottom center one looks like some hovering security robot with steel pincers
I look forward to seeing what they are even though those kind of look stupid, but you never know

This is why I think they're alternate forms of Rotom.

It's coming out on September 13th in Japan. As far as I know there isn't a release date for it in any other countries but my guess is it'll be out in other countries in early 2009. |

I agree with this. I started out with blue, then the next I got was diamond, so I'll probably wait a few generations before buying another one. |
