Does not compute.

Video games used to be one of my obsessions. From the NES all the way up to the Sony Playstation, I used to play them, study them, research obscure ones, make my own, and postulate about the future of games. Then one day, my interest just dropped off a cliff. I remember it almost exactly -- it was right when the Playstation 2 came out five years ago. I kept buying the occasional game and playing it, but it just wasn't any fun for more than a half-hour any more. Now I never play them at all. Pretty weird...

Mostly I've not been into video games. Husband (now ex) was bigtime Nintendo fan so I became one. I was very into 1 specific game, it took over my time for quite a while. Eventually, had to stop & not look back, still dream about it & miss it. Luckily, life now full of other stuff I'd rather pay attention to.

I used to be a gaming nut. Now I just play some old games every now and then, usually side-scrollers or puzzle games. I might buy Viewtiful Joe, but I don't see the point cause I'd never paly it. I game when I'm around my gaming friends, Super Smash Bros is amazing!!! Multiplayer is awesome, and I'd love to play 8-way Bomberman agian on the SNES.

I used to be very hooked. My life was computer games; sometimes I'd step into the real world for a quick play before quickly getting back to the serious business of building cities, racing cars, shooting aliens, flying fighter planes etc.

I kinda lost interest after I outgrew my 2600. Never interested in Nintendo or Sega or anything else. Just progressed that way, I guess. Friend of mine wants to build a gallery of every machine built. He's already got the PS2 and GameCube, and a ColecoVision I gave him for his B'day. Tested it out with Ladybug and was kinda intrigued by it. Modern games along the Quake/Doom/Halo lines just aren't my thing at all.

I don't like video games. I prefer books and movies for entertainment. There are some computer games that I enjoy. I like the Sims, but that is hardly a video game.

I remember when PONG then SUPER PONG came out I played them a lot then came some new ones after that I was never truly good at them so I never really played them after that.

I don't play video games. A friend gave me a copy of Warcraft, and I played it for a while. I never finished it. For a while I obsessively played computer solitare. But I stopped. I have too much else to do, reading books, watching anime, to spend time on a game.

But when I do play, I lose all track of time and get obsessed. I guess that's why I avoid them.
