I hate cells phones they are such a freakin pain in my rear They ring and the noise hurts my ears in some cases people let them ring and ring and you can just see my anger and frustration on my face. Then of course what's just as annoying is people who have to talk right next to you so loud that someone across down can hear what they are saying grrrrr.
Am I the only one who finds cell phones to be annoying to the point you want to break them in half?? |

Used as what it is, a tool, then its not so bad. Used the way many
use it, like something to play with/a toy, then it starts to suck

I hate them, I have to have one for work of course when an occasion arises that I need it the damn thing fails, anyone talking to me on one sounds like a buzzing tin diaphragm and the idiot ringing me assumes I am able to recognise the voice which I cannot. The damn handset I have now if I am not careful to check the external buttons are disabled will start downloading cak from the web (I chose a clamshell so I would not have to contend with keypad locking when I put the thing in my handbag).
God do I hate cellphones I really hate phones of any sort and if I had a time machine going back and assassinating Alexander Graham Bell would be a tempting proposition. _________________ Wisdom must be gathered, it cannot be given.

| iceb you don't know torture till you have to listen to six hours of the cell phone ringing and listening to someone talk on it while your on the road for six hours on vacation. I am talking about my dad grrrr its bad enough listening to it at that house but getting stuck in a car for six hours listening to it is god awful and god forbid a traffic jam. Would you believe me if I said had threatened to throw the thing out the window while going down the road?? |

It can be anoying, like my brother likes to use it to play all the music he likes, but Mobile phones can be good with emergencies, a calender as I often have trouble with dates, a clock and a useful tool like needing a light in the dark. _________________ They're sinking cities with a GIANT WOOOOORM!!!!

I don't know why some people's manners seem to go out the window when they acquire a cellphone. Some of these people talk so loud that I'm tempted to tell them that if they just speak up a little more they won't need the phone at all! And they seem to think a cone of silence descends around them when they answer the things. I have heard way too many extremely personal details being discussed in public. Also, they seem to think that the cellphone is more important than the person they're with. They will answer the phone and totally ignore the person standing right in front of them! And they don't seem to know how to set their phones on vibrate.
NTs get annoyed by bad behavior like this too. It's not just an Aspie thing. _________________ Be who you are & say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter & those who matter don't mind. - Dr. Seuss

I have one and used it to text friends and talk to people. It is also for emergencies as well. _________________ Each person gets his or her own freedom and passion one by one

| There is a woman at the office who is always on her cellphone. She's also always in the bathroom. So 9 times out of 10, when I go to pee, she's in there talking. I shouldn't have to feel awkward about making any noise in the bathroom! |

Now there is something I have never understood. How can people possibly think it's appropriate to talk on the phone when they're in the bathroom? That shows no respect for the person they're talking to. How do they explain any noise? Doesn't it bother them that the other person is probably picturing them sitting on the toilet? _________________ Be who you are & say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter & those who matter don't mind. - Dr. Seuss

I'll never understand why some people love talking so much that they can't take a break to use the restroom or during a meal. I answer the phone at work & the last thing I want to do is have a phone (any) glued to my ear (or even blue tooth). I get more than enough phone time at work! _________________ You can't change your genes, but you can learn to wear them better!

it depends. it does annoy me when people talk really loud into their phones.
especially when they are having a big fight or talking about stuff that no one else would want to know about.
eg there was this one lady i heard having a massive argument on her cell and swearing a lot. everyone on the train was all quiet and tense. |
