My favorite game console is the NES, because it is the first video game console I have ever really played on there are so many games I liked on that particular system. I could name all of the games I liked, but I will reduce those into my personal top ten:

1. Tecmo Super Bowl
2. Hogan's Alley
3. Tecmo Bowl
4. Mike Tyson's Punch Out
5. Super Mario Bros.
6. R.B.I. Baseball
7. Mega Man
8. Metroid
9. Super Mario Bros. 3
10. Excitebike

What is your favorite console and what is your personal top ten on your favorite console?

I recieved my Atari 2600 (actually a Sears console) way back in 1976. I was all
of eight years old at the time. I think we got a dozen games or so. My favorites
are listed below. I have the "Stella Emulator" software and made a cable to import
all my carts back in 1994-95 and still am adding as I hit garage sales.

As of today I have over 350 cartridges (I've been collecting for 30+ years!)

Favorite Carts:

32 in one
Adventure
Air/Sea Battle
Asteroids
Basic Programming
Centipede
Computer Chess
Football
Frogger
Jungle Hunt
Missile Command
Music Machine
Outer Space
Pitfall
Radar
Space Invaders
Star Raiders

I put say all consoles because I think that each one has something different to offer. Although I have never tried playing some of the older ones like the Atari (based on the sole fact my brother hasn't bought one Smile) from what I know of them they were great consoles for their age, and I don't believe you can really judge any console to another of a different age. An example would be conparing my old Gameboy colour to my DS, or my PS1 to my brother's PS3. Because technology has evolved, each console has evolved with it, making it near impossible to judge all of them compared to each other.

Sorry for the confusing post Razz

I put the PS2. It had a huge library, tons of Eastern and Western games, and my favourite games of last generation, the Team ICO and Square-Enix games.

Right now I'd say the PS2 is my favorite of all time. But only because the PS3 is to new for me to have grown found of it. Back before the PS2 came out I would have said the PS1 was my favorite, and before the PS1 came out I would have said the Sega Genesis was my favorite, and before the Genesis I would have said the SNES was my favorite and so on up to the Atari 2600.

I own a PS2, Wii, NES, NDS and PSP

I chose PS2 as my favorite, because of its huge library. Many of my favorite games are for PS1/PS2, and I love PS2 controllers.

DS. It has The World Ends with You and the Ace Attorney series. So it wins.

NES, SNES, N64, PS2, and Sega Genesis were the only consoles worth a damn...

I used to say NES, but over the years I've really fallen in love with the Sega Genesis...I'm having trouble picking one over the other =/

The SNES. Secret of Mana, A Link To the Past, Super Mario World, Super Metroid, Super Mario Kart and many more.

The Gamecube and Xbox 360 are my second favourites.

My favourite ever game is Half Life 2.

I think my favirout was the N64, I had a lot of fun on mine it was good with its platform games and the pokemon games they had were some of my favirout and the fact you could adapt your gameboy games up was ausome. Also though catridges are generaly looked down on I think they can be good, there was very little loading and you could trust them more with younger kids. My other favirouts would be the PS2 and the Xbox 360, the PS2 was good for continuing me along the track and there was a lot of fun games on it, only problem was tht mine died and quality was not always great, but had some good things like Buzz. The 360 has taken me a bit away from most of the casual gamers and there are more serous games on it, takeing me into this generation more. These were my favirouts at there times and one of the sad things is that I realy enjoy certain series from each company.

Xbox and 360 have a special place in my heart, due for the most part to Xbox Live (Top Spin 2 and NBA 2K7), which seemed the only thing worth living for when my girlfriend left me. Of course I developed an addiction to it, but fortunately I managed to get out of it, and now I can enjoy the wonderful single player games ! Anyway I love them all ! Wink
