I don't own anything and didn't even know about Thomas The Tank Engine until recently I've seen this toys in some shops and I was like...WOW, I WANT THEM !
I haven't bought anything yet cause it seems inappropriate for my age, but I'm pretty sure I'll buy some SOON !
They're TOO beautiful ! |

Ah, many, many mornings watching Thomas and his friends, with my young daughter. Good little show. _________________ Novinson's Revolutionary Discovery: When comes the revolution, things will be different - not better, just different. |

I had this:
Thomas the Tank Engine
Read the whole thing, enjoyed it a great deal, but I gave it to a cousin when I got older. |

My parents bought Thomas the Tank Engine things for my little brother when we were small. Books, toys, and maybe also movies (I know we saw him on TV - thanks, Sky card). But I loved Thomas more than my brother ever did, and I would take all of the books into my room to read. I was definitely very into Thomas trains (I remember that Percy was my favorite because he was smallest), and trains in general (The Railway Children was my favorite book, and I coveted my brother's electric train set).
Funny thing, though, I've heard the Thomas theme recur a lot in conjunction with autistic children. I wonder what would cause him to appeal to them especially? _________________ "Maybe the ones who have it easy are missing part of the adventure."

My brother was obsessed with it as a little boy (he's not aspie, by the way), but I've never been into it. Did you know that the original books are rascist? _________________ **Paste this and use it for your signature if you support the environment!**

I'm 20 (you read that correctly) and still love watching Thomas the tank engine! I prefer the older series to the newer ones but I will still watch those! _________________ I am a Tourettey, Aspie obsessive compulsive! |

This is one of my favorite shows, although the quality has been shaky since Britt and David left after Series 5. Too many characters who never get seen again. Too much Thomas.
Last year I imported the anthologies of Wilbert and Christopher's books. I really enjoy the stories and artwork in them.
This morning they showed the new movie, The Great Discovery, on PBS, and it was decent quality. I much prefer Pierce Brosnan's narration to Michael Brandon's after Series 8.
I write a lot about how I'd change the show if I was in change. Oh, that'd be a dream come true. _________________ I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. |
