My advice? DON'T GO VIOLENT ON HIM.
TRUST ME! I tried that back in 6th grade, I held it in all year, then I stabbed some kid in the shoulder with a dull pencil, barely left a mark -- now I've got a record and I was laughed at for the subsequent 3 years. Trust me. Deal with it in the sane way - report him not to the teacher, but to higher authorities, meaning the prinicipal.
If that doesn't work, which it probably won't, find his number in the school directory and call his parents. Either you or your parents should talk to his parents and adress the problem directly. Worked for me.
However, in my case, the bullying eventually got so bad, we moved. So if it gets that bad and that wide-spread, you may want to consider that heavy of a step...
But first, try dealing with the problem yourself. Trust me, it might work.
