Bought this from Direct2Drive for $15 (you can also get it on Xbox Live to $10). It's a 2D side-scroller remake of the classic NES game! Super, super fun. Smile

I wanted to get this. But it's not on Steam. Evil or Very Mad

Is Direct2Drive comparable to Steam, in that you can redownload at any time and use it on multiple systems?

Ahh, nostalgia. Very Happy I used to play this game on my Nintendo NES.

BTW I love the sound Bionic Commando's telescopic arm makes. Love it!

I am playing this on my PS3 which is supposed to be a little better than the Xbox version. I hope Capcom keeps this up after Mega Man 9 comes out.

The one thing I remember most about this game is the gory ending to the final boss at the end. It was quite unexpected at the time as there didn't tend to be gore in games back then. They show a close up of his head exploding. I wonder if the new version will have the overhead view sub levels as well.

True but it is still shocking when you are a little kid.

Didn't know this was a remake, I was confusing it with the other Bionic Commando game that's in the works. Guess that one's not out yet.

I was so excited by it, I had to make it the first game for me to beat by myself.
Horrible, right?
