| Did you know harley quinn was suposed to be in the dark knight film. but she wasent for some reason and sarah michele geller buffy was going to play her. and i saw a photo when she is fighting batman in the party scene |

There are plenty of threads about this without starting a new one - and please don't put your thread titles in all capitals.
I didn't know they were going to use Harley, would've been cool though. Bit weird that this is the first mention I've heard of it though, are you sure it was SMG in the picture? |

yer i looked at the photo couple of weeks back but i cant find the photo. Remmember the scene when joker throws racial of the roof. she is fighting there. If this is true then they might have delieted that scene because heath ledger died. |

i felt they should've gotten Maggie Gyllenhaal to play Harley Quinn. you know she could do it! how awesome would that be? but they had to waste her on that Refridgerator Syndrome love interest Rachel Dawes.

I can't find anything about this anywhere.
And besides, Sarah Michelle Gellar was never in the cast (unless they somehow made that a secret) and filming another movie during the filming of the Dark Knight.
But if Harley Quinn was in the movie? i'd like to see someone like Zooey Deschanel or Mary Elizabeth Winstead in that roll.

What??? Rachel stood up to Joker. She was in the whole of the first film. She wasn't just there to get killed. Them killing her off, especially the way they did it, shocked me, and I think was worthwhile for the storyline. |

Really, how was she different than other refigerator love interests? Standing up to a villain who eventually kills her is fairly common.
Like the rest, her purpose was to grow the main character into the superhero he would become. Which is total bull**** if we're talking about Batman, the most self-motivated human in fiction. |

| Well the fact she lasted the whole first movie for one thing. It's not a classic fridge thing because they didn't even write the second one until after thefirst. |

That's odd. I looked at the preview photos before the movie was released, and I don't remember seeing Harley Quinn (or Sarah Michelle) on there at all.  |

Yeah, i'm thinking this was a fan just stirring up a false rumor. She was never, ever in the movie, and he didn't give us a source.
