I ask out of curiosity, because there's nobody from my country here, as far as I know.
And do you feel it's easier to make friends / penpals on WP than among NTs?

I guess you could call people here message board friends but I have never met anyone personally in real life from WP.

I made a couple of friends, who I have met in person, not to mention online friends.
I would like to meet more in person, though.

I've made two friends here. They're both in other states, so it's not likely we would ever meet in person. That doesn't make them any less of a friend, however.

Even though I am quite active I am still a newbie. It hasn't even been a month since I have joined WP but I love it here and hope to make some friends in time.

I should learn how to use chat programs. That's the only way to have an actual conversation.
I have one installed, but I almost never even load it.
I mostly just post in threads while online, which does satisfy my "social drive" to some extent, but doesn't do much in the way of actually forming friendships.

I once asked someone what is a friend, and was given this answer
A friends is who you are there for, and who is there for you.
This may mean not long distance, and would mean in-person encounters. I am not sure I am able to do that. I would feel uncomfortable. There is a great distance (in reality and figuratively) between me and others. I do not understand the bridging required to close the gap. I may never solve this, though I can try. Until them, I am solitary. But the members I have encountered on this site are wonderful. Thank you.
