When you start thinking about certain subject matter (such as past events, certain scenarios or particular songs) that gets you stirred up or restless will you start stimming due to nervous energy? One of my stims when this happens is that I run my fingers through my hair and scratch my head very quickly or rub my arms with my hands.

If I'm not already stimming, yes. If I was stimming beforehand, then the stimming will intensify.
