Anyone do this for fun?

I print floor plans from the Internet, and draw where I would put my stuff in each room.

I found out that to store all of my belongings, I would need at least a two-bedroom residence.

I had fun when I moved into my house. I love moving furniture and decorating the home.

My apartment is fully furnished, and I simulated those urban lofts.

The floor plan I used was from a loft in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Sort of. I don't down load anything. I sketch out an laid out plan of what my dream farm would be. Barns, pastures, sheds, arena, house, landscaping, complete with little horses, etc...

*sighs*

To dream...

Lotsa fun though. Smile

I had considered landscaping and architecture as a major.

Or you could work in the film industry as a set designer or set decorator.

I play this game too sometimes. More recently though it has involved underground home designs. I really like the idea of a two level underground home with a pole going down the middle ... that would be so much fun! (but just going down...I do not think I could climb back up the pole...)

No, more like keeping in line with city codes and ordinances, and choosing sites based on various factors.

Yeah. I had some technical problems. All seems to be good now.

I've read a few times on here about some aspies having an affinity for architecture and floor planning. It takes years for me to complete them because I start with a blueprint stage and work out all the dimensions, where the plumbing and wiring will run, every little detail. Then I actually construct it. Last, I play interior designer and decorate and furnish everything. I've been working on an underground fall-out shelter for the past eight months or so...fully self sufficient. I've even checked out books on air filtration and hydroponic plant growth, and solar and wind generated power, to make it more fact based and logical in my head. I also like those home decorating shows sometimes. Geeze...I'm weird. Wink
