I do see numbers, not words though (I can imagine how distracting that must be...)

Yes, I see numbers, words (often) and days, weeks and years....I also have associative colours. It's called synesthesia.

Numbers and years, yes. Words, not as much.

As if the words/numbers/years are written on a page?

Totally.

Yeah. It's grapheme synesthesia. Really helps with spelling, and finding patterns. Not so much help with math, although I suppose it is considerably prettier.

I see numbers (including years), which are all colour coded and in a line. I also see letters, but not usually words. When I was really young, I used to daydream about letters, they had personalities.

Yes I do.
I think very intensely about numbers, dates, decades, people. I will usually associate different colors with different numbers of different sets of ten (hard to explain)

this is teresting As ideation...some of us are visual thinkers. some are verbal i am symbolic, where i will condesne a concept, memory or piece of informatrion into a recognisable symbol.
these symbols can be stored easily, recalled fairly quickly , and expanded into a relevant meaning for me.
i am convinced that with As commonalities we share that the ideation of As is , while categororical, individualy different.

Your symbols are visually represented, yes?

These posters 'see' these number and letters also visual

I’m always confused about this 'thinking in' concept. I don’t think in, I think blindly.

for a long time i too thought that i think blindly, with no pictures or sounds, non verbally, ideas just appeared.

i dont think in pictures....but representative symbols......and they are associated to other links i have made between them, and there is an unending chain of interlinked and connected symbols.

do you really thing blindly?

Yes. What you said I can't fathom. 'Appear' implies a visual or sound.
