I've never liked going anywhere, travelling, etc. I guess I prefer routine and sameness. The only reason I really enjoyed my last two trips were because they were attend seminars to learn new skills for work. If I'm travelling for a specific purpose, I guess I don't mind it, but just to go somewhere, that's not for me I guess. _________________ PrisonerSix

I love traveling. Funny thing is... whenever I am on vacation I like the change.. but if I am in my everyday surroundings (home) I HATE it when my routine is changed. It's weird but thats just me... _________________ I was told that I have PDD-NOS and ADHD- in other words, mild AS with a history of speech delay. I like travelling, but when I go on vacation with my parents we walk all over the place. I'd rather just sit in one place and become accustomed to it, and enjoy it. Like writing in front of a famous cathedral or something. _________________ "I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions."--Augusten Burroughs |

Traveling is a double-edged sword to me.
I love the adventure, seeing new sights and just soaking in something new to wrap my mind around.
But at the same time, traveling scares me to death. I feel very unsafe and out of my element. I feel at the mercy of the world. I DO NOT like being somewhere I'm not familiar with. |

I love travelling and diving into the culture, but I struggle with how overwhelming all the change can all be at times.
These days I am totally impulsive, allowing my interests to drive me because otherwise I would be paralyzed by my inability to make a decision that everyone will be comfortable with. So, in that sense, it works. We have grown to love the "fly by the seat of our pants" way of life because otherwise we'd be couped up at home, driving in circles or sitting at a computer somewhere wondering which one of us is going to crack first and make a bloody decision.
It has taken us to strange and wonderful places and whilst there are things that I struggle with, they are all minuscule in comparison to the experiences. _________________ It isnt a programming error, it is an operating system... |

I really don't like traveling. It's one of the most stressful things for me, and it just doesn't interest me very much, either. _________________ "I don't even know how to explain it, but this is not my dimension, and my mind is never at peace; it's always somewhere else." - Josh Groban, Alla Luce Del Sole |
